Reminds me of my "wonder years," though I am a few years older than the author. A delightful retrospective on family vacations -- including all those wonderful idiosyncracies that only a close-knit family would appreciate, with a few peer adventures sprinkled in for good measure. Though the writing style and grammar are clearly unsophisticated (proofreading, anyone?), the content alone is enough to captivate and amuse for the duration of the book. The last chapter gets a bit graphic in terms of sexual experience, but otherwise, a suitable read for teens to adults.
