I was surprised to find that this book gives a really realistic look at homosexuality in Regency England. The sex scenes are steamy as hell, but it dealt with perceptions and propriety as well. My only complaint was that it was too short... however, there is a novella that follows this book, which is just as good.Recommended? Absolutely.
However, if homosexuality is not your bag, then this is not the book for you.

I would love more of these of Henry and Arsen, to see where they go from bedroom to every day life.
I wasn't too impressed at first, but pressed on, and wound up liking the story a lot. Good work! Thank you!

I liked this novella, but not as much as Bound by Deception and its sequel.
The writing is good as well as the setting. I also liked to find out that Arsen was scheming to have the young Henry for himself, and it was nice because Henry was completely oblivious to Arsen's interest, but in the end I missed some angst.
It's a book that I will probably re-read, because it's good to see someone get what he wants, but the characters are not as memorable as Vincent and Oliver from the Bound series.
I'd recommend this book for those who like historicals.

Disliked one of the heroes so that did spoil some of it for me.
Ava March has a wonderful ability to take just a few pages and fully envelop the reader in her character's world. Because of this, you get a short but great read with well developed characters and heartfelt connections. Thank you Ms. March. )
I haven't read an Ava Marsh book I didn't like. Hot, sexy, emotionally charged, one almost immediately likes the characters. The sex is well written, never disgusting, always engaging. Short but not too short one is always satisfied with the wrap up but wanting more. I recommend this story.
Romantic, sensual and true. All of these words fit Henry perfectly and Summerville perfectly as well. I love the loyalty and honesty of the characters and the author portrays their feelings wonderfully. Great story. Must read.
